Join AAHM Radio

There is no radio experience required. All you need are your turntables or DJ controller, a microphone, an internet connection, a love for house music and bundles of enthusiasm.

You’ll also need streaming software to connect live from home to our radio server. If you are new and that sounds daunting, don’t worry, full instructions and advice are always available to get you live in no time and broadcasting worldwide.

What you need to broadcast:

No experience, but lots of enthusiasm (we don’t care about your experience,
just your love of house music!)

DJ equipment

Microphone

Reliable internet connection

BUTT (Broadcast Using This Tool) free software on MAC or PC operating systems.

Certain DJ software such as VirtualDJ has a broadcasting facility built in, and therefore you can
DJ and broadcast simultaneously with just one computer.

Alternatively, we recommend you need least one dedicated computer/laptop with a sound card and/or mixer which can route your audio output from your DJ equipment to the computer. This computer will then connect to our servers using free BUTT software and broadcast live on AAHM Radio.
